I was copy-pasting the password from an rdp shell script that had escaped the $ with a \.I was mentally forgetting the reason for \ and thinking it was literal. I spent hours working on authentication when in reality, I need only remove the back-slash escaping of the dollar
I have been using PIA for 5 years and while i have to server switch frequently to get optimum d/l speeds I have not had any issues However these last few months have been awful. I get 300mbs d/l w/o VPN and with pia vpn now I an lucky to get 10mbs d/l on a speed test any advice? I try all the eastern US servers and same issue.
